Peak Performances at Acme

Acme has hosted 107.1 The Peak's "Peak Performance" series for nearly two years now. Performances are recorded and mixed  at Acme by Peter Denenberg. Recent artists have included The Wallflowers, Jason Mraz, Aqualung, O.A.R. - Of A Revolution, Mike Doughty, Aimee Mann, Spin Doctors, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Warren Haynes, The Fray, Glenn Tillbrook of Squeeze, Ray LaMontagne, Dar Williams, Low Millions, Blue Merle, Abdel Wright, Feist, The Bodeans, The Old 97's, Pat Dinizio of The Smithereens, Butterfly Boucher, Sonya Kitchell and more........

Well, it's almost getting boring, Acme's Rory Young along with regular client Arnie Cardillo of Live Oak Media have won three, count' em THREE Grammys for their work together in recent years. 

This winter Acme and Peter Denenberg played host to Amir Vinci from WAVES to add Peter's favorite guitar sounds to their already successful GTR amp modeling bundle. Version 2.0 includes three new amps modeled at Acme and several new cabinets. GTR was developed by WAVES and Paul Reed Smith, Paul a longtime client at Acme got Peter involved with GTR last summer. Acme has used WAVES plug-ins for nearly ten years for both tracking and mastering.

Studio B "The Suite" has just undergone an extensive remodel for the arrival of mixer Chach Cacinovic. Chach has kept the new room hopping since it opened last month and bookings already stretch into next fall.
