A little Acme history-
(somewhat randomly presented)

Acme originally opened in late 1979-80 as "In The Red Recording" in another spot across town, circa 1982 the guys moved in with a local video house and then later bought out that space re-emerging as the cleverly named "Acme Recording Studios".

Survivors of the transition from an all analog world to a (nearly) all digital world on these photos highlight some of the equipment and work-spaces here over the years.

note the 8 track for extra tracks syncronized to 24 track, the little mixer on top of the patchbay to get the extra 8 channels mixed, the Scamp Rack (remember those?) and the pile of rental gear
(note: our new studio A has NO patchbays.....NONE!)
